Our Mission
Our mission is to distribute the best products for the best price safely and efficiently. Our business was founded on principles of sourcing products that best fulfill our customer's needs, opposed to selling products at whatever price the market bears.
Safety is our first priority in doing business. It doesn't just affect the methods we use to warehouse and distribute products; it affects the very vendors we choose and the products we source. We never sacrifice quality or safety for price. We are well aware we can't always be the cheapest supplier. However, we know we can provide our customers the best product for the best price safely and efficiently.
The "right product" is not necessarily the cheapest product or what a customer has become comfortable using. We believe it's important to provide our customers with the best quality product for their investment. We utilize the buying power of our committed customers to seek out and make commitments to suppliers. Products are produced specifically for our customers. We don't seek out opportunity to fill an immediate need or practice spot purchasing.
How do we offer high quality products at such value? Efficiency is our mantra. Efficiency in sourcing, warehousing and distribution is what allows us to provide the best products for the best price. Over a century of foodservice distribution experience gives us a unique perspective into what is wrong with the industry. We avoid the endless layers of brokers, sales people, traders, trucking companies and warehouses. Once we locate the "right product", the right price is our responsibility.
Our customers will notice our orders arrive on our own trucks. Not only are we able to minimalize the freight charges of delivering our customers product, but this also allows us to pick up product for other customers we have. Everyone has a valued local supplier in their back yard. However, these suppliers aren't capable of covering all their needs. When we are delivering a customer in Georgia, we pick up peanut butter for a customer in Arkansas. Conversely, when we deliver that peanut butter in Arkansas we pick up rice for that customer in Georgia. When we can't fill that truck with orders for our customers, be assured it is full with other products such as Kayaks for a Walmart in South Carolina. We never run empty because every empty mile costs our customers money.
As a customer, we rely on your help to keep us efficient. Our customers know the "bells and whistles" cost them money. Our customers understand that we don't have 12 different brands of bacon, they must meet certain terms and they even utilize our online sales system; which helps us saves them money. You won't ever be invited to an IRBN Food Show and you will never have an IRBN rep knocking at your door once a week. You will be overwhelmed by our commitment to customer satisfaction, our prices, our quality and our passion. We are a family business that is passionate about everything we do.
Our passion is your mission.
